Could OT Help My Child?

Everyday moments that feel exhausting can sometimes point to skills occupational therapy may help build.

Difficulty with handwriting, scissors, buttons, or utensils

Strong reactions to sounds, textures, grooming, or transitions

Limited food variety or distress around mealtimes

Trouble with dressing and daily routines

Difficulty participating confidently at school or during play

If any of these sound familiar, occupational therapy can be beneficial. A free 15-minute consult can help you figure out the next right step — no pressure, no diagnosis, just guidance.

Meet Cheryl

Hi, I'm Cheryl Sadigh, MS, OTR/L — a New York State–licensed pediatric occupational therapist and the founder of PlayGrow OT. I started this practice because I believe therapy works best when it doesn't feel like therapy. Every session is built around play, because play is how children learn, and it's where they're brave enough to try hard things. My other belief? Parents aren't spectators. You'll leave every session knowing exactly what we worked on and what to try at home.
